Located on the edge of Dalby Forest in the North York Moors National Park our one bedroomed cottage and studio are located in a quiet valley with an abundance of local pathways and tracks to explore on foot or by bike, in Dalby and Langdale Forest.
Local wildlife includes badgers, roe deer, barn and tawny owls and crossbills. Siskins and other finches are frequent visitors to the garden and window mounted bird feeders as is the woodpecker. Nightjars can be heard on a summer evening.
In its relatively remote location, the cottages benefit from dark skies which offer fantastic star gazing on clear nights.
Our cottage, The Nook, has a large enclosed garden and is dog friendly so you can bring your furry friend with you.
The coastal town of Scarborough is just a 30 minute drive to the East and the beaches of Whitby, Robin Hoods's Bay, Sandsend and Runswick Bay are all within easy reach by car.
